Christy Lee Carpenter

Christy Lee Carpenter, 34, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2019 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born July 11, 1985 in Johnstown, daughter of Peter and Deborah (Comiskey) Carpenter.

Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Paul J. and Angeline (Fontana) Carpenter and maternal grandparents George and Eleanore (Novak) Comiskey.

Survived by her loving parents Peter and Deborah, uncles and aunts Paul Carpenter, Florence Carpenter (Paul) Zeisman, Louis Carpenter, Tom Comiskey, John Comiskey, Sr. Cynthia Comiskey, and Susan (Todd) Madanick. Also survived by many cousins and Special friend Sr. Patti Rossi.

Christy was a 2006 graduate of Johnstown High School. She attended Skills of Central PA. Christy also enjoyed going for rides with her Dad, playing on her swing outside and being sung to. She loved to give hugs and kisses to her family and friends.  Christy was a special person to all and will be sadly missed by her family.

She was a life-time member of St. Therese Church, where Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Rev. Bernard Karmonocky O.F.M. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum.
