Delores J. "Janey" Rohal

Delores J. "Janey" Rohal, 87, of Upper Yoder Township died on May 28, 2019 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born February 22, 1932 in South Fork, and grew up in Philadelphia and Ebensburg. Daughter of Joseph P. Sr. and Clara E. (Smith) Richards.

Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mary Scott, Anna Shugrue, Eileen Henehan and brother Joseph P. Richards Jr.

Survived by her loving husband William F. "Bill" Rohal I, Sons William F. "Bill" II; of Hemet, CA Richard K. married to Trude (Lenner); of Pipersville and Mark A. married to Dora (McCartney); of Newtown, grandchildren William F. III, Frank , Rebecca "Becky" Hart, and Nicholas A, and great granddaughter Gracie Lynn Hart.

Janey was a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1954, and worked as an RN at Mercy Hospital. She volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul Society and the Johnstown Free Clinic. She was a Eucharistic Minister at Our Mother of Sorrows, Lee Hospital, also made home visits with her husband. She enjoyed reading, walking, biking, the ocean, the back porch, and her kitchen window where she enjoyed "Mother Nature" at her best. She was thankful for her great neighbors, Ginny and Mel. She was spirited and loved her "Bill", being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, her extended family of nieces and nephews, and very good friends. Janey would say, "Life was good, most of the time, Thank you GOD." "So, now it is time to say goodbye."

Janey was a member at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church where friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Very Rev. Mark S. Begly. Interment, Grandview Cemetery

By request of Janey, there will be no public viewing.
