Gail Maxine (Barron) Vavrek

Gail Maxine (Barron) Vavrek, 93, of Somerset, died Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital. She was born July 25, 1926 in Somerset, the youngest daughter of John W. and Bessie I. (Ankney) Barron.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband John Vavrek, and 5 other brothers and sisters of her mother Bessie, Edna Romaine (Barron) Morrison, Roselyn Loretta Barron, Rachael Louise Barron, Anita Lucille (Barron) Burton, and John Charles Barron and 4 other brothers and sisters of her father John W. and Maude E. (Bruner) Barron, Audrey Jean Barron, Cecil Clair Barron, Ellis Rodman Barron, and Edgar Rodney Barron.

Survived by her daughter Benita Jackson, of New York, and 7 remaining brothers and sisters of John W. and Maude E. Barron, Leta Arlene (Barron) Tomanio, Dale Bruner Barron, Sandra Mayme (Barron) Crawford, Emily Grace (Barron) Harper, Barrie Bruce Barron, Howard Blair Barron, and John Wesley Barron Jr.

Gail enjoyed a long and enjoyable life in NJ, and NM, and back home in PA. Gail most recently enjoyed listening to audio books and history tapes. She will be sadly missed by her family.

At request of the deceased, there will be no viewing and no service.
