Dave worked for Johnstown America for 20 years, as well as the American Red Cross for more than 15 years. Dave was the ultimate Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates fan, and he enjoyed attending as many games as he could with his family. Dave was also a fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions and spent many days working at Penn State for the Red Cross. Dave loved the outdoors and enjoyed biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and camping. He also enjoyed working on his historic home in the Roxbury section of Johnstown.
Dave was a proud member of West Hills Community Church and was excited to tell everyone about his faith in Jesus. He was a friend to all who knew him, had a smile that lit up any room, and a laugh that was unmistakable. Dave adored his children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He loved his family and friends dearly and was always there for anyone who needed him. Dave’s family would like to thank Windber Hospice, especially Jess and Michael, as well as West Hills Community Church, for their love and support.
