Eva Scaletta

Eva Scaletta, on November 24, 2020 entered Heaven to be reunited with her loving husband Vito Charlie Scaletta.

Born December 4, 1924 in Altoona, daughter of Lazzaro and Anna (DeMarino) Michlena.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Vito C. Scaletta, siblings, Mary, Rose, Lena, Armeda, Gino and Frank.

Eva was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Survived by sons, Sylvester, Charles Scaletta and fiancée Christine Rosko, and Richard Scaletta, married to Judith, grandchildren, Brian (Lori), Anthony, and Nicholas (Kate), great grandchildren Adelyn and Nora Scaletta, loving daughter-in-law Edie Scaletta. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Also, special friend Colleen Brooks. 

Eva and Charlie were happily married for 68 years before his passing. Eva’s passion in life was being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Eva was a member of the former St. Anthony’s Parish, Woodvale, and then joined Visitation BVM in the 1950’s with her husband Vito.

All services will be held privately for the family. Committal service at Grandview Cemetery, Rev. John Slovikovski.
