Glenn R. Wagner

Glenn R. Wagner, 76, of Upper Yoder, died on November 7, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born on June 21, 1944 in Johnstown, son of Carl and Myrtle Wagner. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Carl and Robert Wagner, sister-in-law Carol Wagner. Survived by loving and devoted wife of 54 years Susan (Maneval), loving daughters, Laura Venet, wife of Evan, of Allentown and Carrie Durko, wife of Paul, of Canonsburg, grandchildren, Shawn Venet, Paul Durko Jr., Derek Durko, and Leah Durko, sister, Jean Scott wife of Paul. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many friends and former students. 

Glenn was a 1962 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School. He received his teaching degree from I.U.P. He was a teacher at Ferndale Area High School for 33 years and during that time was also Athletic Director, Faculty manager, and Basketball coach. He loved watching sports, gardening, and breakfast with his friends. Glenn loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be sadly missed. 

Friends received from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Grandview Mausoleum, Pastor David Streets. Friends and family will meet at cemetery office at 10:45 AM to proceed to mausoleum.
