Linda Kay (Savage) Miller, 77, of Johnstown, PA, passed away June 17th, at home. She was born in April 24, 1944, in Altoona. She was preceded in death by parents Sheldon E. and Doris J. Savage; aunt Grace (Savage) Epright; in-laws Earl J. And Geraldine K. Miller; and nephew Brian M. Savage.
Linda is survived by two daughters; Kristin Carter and husband Ryan, and their children Christian M. and Kendall L. Carter, of Boca Raton, FL, and Dana Miller and her fur-baby, Princess, of Scranton, PA. Also survived by brother Steve Savage and wife Deb, of Elizabethtown, PA; cousin Lois Snowberger of Endicott, NY, and former sister-in-law Judi (Miller) Schlegel and husband Robert; and several nieces and nephews. Linda was a 1962 graduate of Altoona High School and attended Thiel College. She was a former member of Westmont Presbyterian Church, where she lovingly served as a Sunday School teacher. One of her many talents, through which many came to know her, was through So-Fro Fabrics and her sewing. Made with love, she sold folk art and appliquéd crafts at The Log House Arts Festival. Linda will be remembered for her selfless love for, and commitment to, her daughters. She was a kind and gentle soul who will surely be watching over Kristin, her “forever sunshine” and Dana, her “shining star”, and her grand-dog, Princess.
