Margaret Crisafulli

Margaret Crisafulli, 93, of Johnstown, died on September 19, 2022, at Richland Woods. Born on March 1, 1929, in Vintondale, daughter of John and Mary Nemetz. 

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Anthony "Corkey Christy", brothers John and Michael Nemetz, and sister Helen Funyak. 

Survived by her sons Samuel married to Teresa (Ficorilli), Michael married to Kathleen (Sherman), and Tony, 7 grandchildren, Cristyn, Alicia, Samuel, Kaitlyn, Maria, Lauren, and Justin, 10 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. 

Margaret was a graduate of Vintondale High School. She was a member of the BPOE 175, the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 155, and a past volunteer at Windber Hospice. 

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. 

She was a longtime member of St. Clare of Assisi Church, formerly St. Anthony, where Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 10:00 AM. Friends received from 4-8 PM on Thursday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Interment, St. Anthony Cemetery.
