Richard E. Waddell

Richard E. Waddell, 71, of Johnstown, died on October 15, 2021. Born on September 28, 1950 in Johnstown, son of Bertha (Livingston) Waddell.

Preceded in death by his mother, brothers Earl and Gilbert, parents-in-law, Charles and Vivian Deist.

Survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Vicki (Deist) Waddell, sister Kathleen Waddell, 9 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, Terri Waddell, Becky (Chris Friewald), and Mandi (Jim Grassa).

Richard graduated from Johnstown High School. He worked at Glosser Brothers, the former Skelly Motors, Bilo, and retired from Goucher Street Giant Eagle. He loved watching and attending Nascar and World of Outlaw Races.

He will be sadly missed by his friends, family, and his favorite pets, Lucy, Quincy, and Peanut.

Friends received from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Funeral Service will begin at 12:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Richland Cemetery.
