Amber Bitsko

Amber Bitsko, 83, of Johnstown, died on July 20, 2019 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born December 16, 1934 in Detroit, MI, daughter of Angelo and Mary (McLoota) Melillo.

Preceded in death by her parents and daughter Roslyn.

Survived by her sisters Marlene, wife of Paul Adkins of Florida, and Denise wife of Bill Benko of Ephrata, nieces Amy (Jay Williams), Angela (Dan Mahlandt), Audrey Adkins, Amanda Adkins, nephew Michael Adkins married to Sharman, great nieces and nephews Madison, Chase and Jackson Williams, Taylor, Megan, and Charlotte Mahlandt.

Amber was a 1951 graduate of East Conemaugh High School. She was a volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul for many years. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Trisagion Prayers of Mercy will be sung at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 followed by a Celebration of Her Life at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Very Rev. Father Donald E. Shadid.
