James W. Zanghi, 47, of Johnstown, died on April 20, 2019 at Windber Hospice. Born September 17, 1971 in Johnstown, son of James J. Zanghi and Joyce (Claycomb).
Preceded in death by his mother, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survived by his loving wife of 19 years Stephanie (Bubalo), father James and wife Georgia (Shawley), sister Stephanie wife of Michael Mino, brother Tony Zanghi, mother-in-law Amelda "Mrs. B" Bubalo, brother-in-law Chris Bubalo married to Aimee, nephews Jonathan and Seth, Favorite Uncle Pete and Young Aunt Betsy, special friend Paul Ellsworth. Also numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Jim was a 1989 graduate of Vo-Tech. He worked for Penn Traffic and then Newfield Properties as a building technician. He was a member of Paint Borough Sportsmen's Club and was an avid Penguins fan. Jim loved all things outdoors, especially hunting with his Dad, and driving his Camaro. He was a loving son, husband, brother, and friend to all who knew him.
Friends received from 2-4 and 5-7 on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, East Hills Chapel and Crematory, 404 Walters Ave. Johnstown PA 15904. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Visitation BMV, 1127 McKinley Ave. Rev. John J. Slovikovski.
