Joan A. Seifert, 91, of Cranberry Township, PA, formerly of Hillside Trail Johnstown, died June 21, 2019 in Cranberry Twp. Born February 7, 1928 in Washington DC, daughter of Albert R. and Helen Theresa (Lane) Houch.
Preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Dr. Thomas E. Seifert, son Joseph Raymond Seifert, and sisters Alberta Rae Kordell and Mary Merker.
Survived by loving children; Patricia, of Indiana; Thomas married to Susan (Boxler), of Georgia; Bernard married to Renee (Poorbaugh), of Indian Head; Susan, of Irwin; Cheryl married to Mark Antolovich, of North Huntington; Mary, of Arizona; Nancie married to Karl Kushner, of Johnstown; Janet married to Dr. John Duffy, of Connecticut; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Joan was a graduate of Mount Aloysius College, Cresson, PA and Mercyhurst University, Erie, PA. She graduated with a music degree and was an accomplished pianist. Joan was a longtime member of Sunnehanna Country Club and a golf enthusiast. She loved life and her family. Joan was a member of St. Ferdinand Church, Cranberry Twp. for over 20 years and Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church for over 30 years.
There will be a private viewing at Joan's request. Friends invited to the Funeral Mass at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church on Tuesday June 25, 2019, at 11:30 AM, Very Rev. Mark S. Begly. Entombment at Grandview Mausoleum will be Private.
Funeral Services entrusted to the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905.
