Joseph Margic

Joseph Margic, 72, of Johnstown, died on July 29, 2019 at Cambria Care Center. Born May 24, 1947 in Johnstown, son of Frank C. and Catherine B. (Fabina) Margic. 

Preceded in death by his wife, Lori Ann (Arcurio) Margic, parents, brothers Charles, John, Stephen, Fred, and sister Janet Ochenrider. Survived by siblings Frank Jr. (Margaret), Catherine Edwards, Frances Warner (Sherman), Louise Warner (John), Rosemary Rovansek, Michael, Ruthann Wos, and Mary Peruso (Joe). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Joe was always a positive, upbeat, incredibly funny & spontaneous person.  He lived a wild life and did things that many people would never dream of doing. The fun we all had together... if laughter was worth anything, the Margic family would be rich beyond our wildest dreams. Joe was that special person whom everyone loved. He was a very giving, trustworthy person, sometimes too trustworthy.

He was the “California Kid”, known by fellow truckers & CB friends. He was employed by Lyons Cable, Inc., as a truck driver & Mechanic before his retirement. A proud member of The Teamsters Union. A member the Moose Lodge of Nanty Glo and more.

Friends will be received from 2:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 4:00 PM on Friday August 2nd at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, East Hills Chapel and Crematory, 404 Walters Ave. Johnstown PA 15904. (Near PA Drivers Center)
