Richard F. "Dick" Burgo

Richard F. "Dick" Burgo, 85 of Westmont, died November 11, 2019 at McCullough Place. Born October 8, 1934 in Johnstown,

Son of Ross and Maria (Bartolotta) Burgo. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Natalie Burgo, Gloria Burgo and Maryann Burgo; Brothers, John Burgo, and Robert Burgo; niece, Deborah Burgo and sisters-in -law, Patricia (Karrick) Burgo and Sara (Deihl) Burgo. Survived by nephews, Jon Burgo, Michael Burgo and Mark Burgo; Nieces, Susan (Burgo) Williams and Julie (Burgo) Maser.

Dick was a professor at Frederick Community College in Frederick Maryland where he was the manager of the college baseball team. He also was the manager of ISDA and Monte Carlo AAABA teams and was Inducted into the AAABA Hall of Fame in 2016.

He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Church, formerly St Anthony, where Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 15, 2019. Fr.  George Gulash. Friends will be received from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown, PA 15905.  Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
