Adam P. Bender

Adam P. Bender, 44, of Richland, passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 18, 2024 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born on September 17, 1979 in Johnstown, son of Dr. Edward and Joanne (Tummino) Bender.

Preceded in death by his father and paternal grandparents Richard and Ann Bender, and maternal grandparents Phillip and Lucy Tummino.

Survived by loving and dedicated mother Joanne, loving sister and brother-in-law, Nicole and Shane Streets. Loving uncle of Isaiah, Liam and Ruby Streets.

Adam attended Richland High School and graduated from Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech. He attended Skills of Central PA, Camp Parc, other summer camps, was a member of ABLE Ministries, and was involved in Special Olympics. He previously worked at Goodwill Industries. Adam loved his many caregivers and friends at Croyle Nielsen Therapeutic.

He loved his family immensely, enjoyed music, WWE wrestling, food, holidays, and vacationing at the beach.

Adam was the life of the party. He loved unconditionally and was full of joy and laughter. His life was a gift. He touched countless lives and will be greatly missed. The impact he had on others cannot be measured.

Friends received at Frank Duca Funeral Home, East Hills Chapel and Crematory, 404 Walters Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15904, Monday, June 24, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friends also received from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Oakland Church, 1504 Bedford Street, Johnstown, PA 15902. Interment at St. Anthony Cemetery, Geistown.
