Agnes A. "Cookie" Johncola

Agnes A. "Cookie" Johncola, 76, of Johnstown, died on May 12, 2019 at home. Born May 29, 1942 in Twin Rocks, PA, daughter of Ed Hoffman and Wilma (McKillop) Patterson.

Preceded in death by her parents, children Nunzio, Joseph, and Carol Johncola, mother and father-in-law Catherine and Nunzio Johncola, several brothers and sisters-in-law, guardians Jake and Della Gardner.

Survived by her loving husband of 61 years Nunzio Johncola, loving and devoted daughter Karen and fiance Howard Blair, 2 grandsons Antonio Johncola and Gianni Blair, Denise Kamler, fiancee of the late Nunzio Johncola, siblings Betty "Boopie" (Chuck McGary), Kathy (Richard Sholtis), Erma Jane (Dave Kordish), Debbie (Larry Anderson), Larry Hoffman (Nancy), Walter Hoffman (Patricia). Also many loving nieces and nephews.

Cookie was a graduate of the Vo-Tech Nursing School and was an LPN for Allegheny Lutheran Social Services.

She was a certified Cake Decorator and made the BEST nut rolls and spaghetti sauce. Cookie also loved going to yard sales.

She was a former member of Our Lady of Mercy in Prospect and was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral.

She will be sadly missed by her friends and family.

Friends received from 2-7 PM on Thursday, May 16th, 2019 at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905 where Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:30 AM. Very Rev. James F. Crookston. Interment, St. John Cemetery, Geistown.
