Anita Louise Petrore

Anita Louise Petrore, 75, of Johnstown, died unexpectedly on July 9, 2022 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on October 22, 1946 in Johnstown, daughter of Anthony C. and Josephine (Penna) Sansone.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph, and significant other Ray Sottile.

Survived by her daughter Courtney Petrore, and her significant other Mike Montani, grandchildren Jade Petrore, Alexa Collins, Joseph Collins, brothers  Joseph Sansone (Jackie Spory) and Anthony Sansone (Jodi), and many nieces and nephews.

Anita graduated from Johnstown High School in 1964. She worked in the office of Bethlehem Steel for 20 years. Most people in town would remember Anita from working at her family's business, Tony's Subs. She will be sadly missed by her family.

Friends will gather from 1- 3 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905, where a Celebration of Her Life will begin at 3 PM at the Funeral Home.
