Anne Quinn Obituary

Anne G. Quinn, 91, of Johnstown, died peacefully on June 7, 2020 at McCullough Place. Born July 3, 1928 in Latrobe, daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Farrell) Glancy.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband G. Neil Quinn, son Joseph Quinn, brothers James Glancy and Rev. Joseph Glancy, T.O.R., and sisters Mary Clark and Joan Wesner.

Survived by loving daughters, Maureen wife of David Clark; Elizabeth wife of Michael Nati; and Susan wife of Thomas McAneny; grandchildren, Joseph Clark, Patrick Clark (Janelle), Meghan Clark, Kathleen Clark (Braden), Kelly Hutchinson, Kathryn Hutchinson (Allen), Matthew McAneny, Anne Babish (Jim), Timothy McAneny, Mark McAneny (Kathleen), Molly Largent (Andrew), TJ McAneny, Neil McAneny; great grandchildren, Leo, Jack, and Penelope Largent, Oliver and Ada Rose McAneny, and Emily Valentine.

Also survived by brother Edward M. Glancy and many loving nieces and nephews.

After graduating from Johnstown Catholic High School, Anne studied at Marywood College in Scranton, PA where she received a Bachelor's Degree in business.  She taught at St. Clement's School for 25 years, then continued her teaching career at Cambria Rowe Business College.

Anne has been an inspiration to many as she lived her life with a deep and beautiful faith.  She and her husband, Neil, were charter members of St. Clement's Parish. 

Due to public health concerns, the viewing and funeral service will be held privately for the family at St. Clement Church. Rev. William E. Rosenbaum. Private Interment, Grandview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Clement Parish, 114 Lindberg Avenue, Johnstown PA 15905 or to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org in memory of Anne.

The Quinn Family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at McCullough Place for the extreme kindness and loving care given to Anne during her stay there.  They are also are deeply appreciative for the comfort given by the skilled caregivers from Aseracare.  To the very special team of angels who helped to care for Anne at home: Thank you Wendy, Susie, Linda, Betty, LeeAnn & Linda for sharing your heartfelt gifts of love and compassion.
