Anthony DiBuono Obituary

Anthony Constanzo DiBuono, 89, of Johnstown, died on April 17, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born on December 6, 1931 in Johnstown, son of Rosario and Julia (Lepera) DiBuono.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ross, and his wife Dorothy, and Ronald DiBuono, sister Mary Agnes Felton, and her husband John Felton. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Survived by loving wife, Mary Ann (Koenig), loving children Anthony R. DiBuono and Jill DiBuono, grandchildren Patrick J. and Catherine Van Slyke, sisters-in-law Lois DiBuono, and Rita Mayercsik. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Anthony was a 1950 graduate of Johnstown High School and a graduate of Milwaukee School of Engineering. He was a US Airforce Veteran, during the Korean Conflict. Anthony retired from the Bureau of Employment Security and was the founder and owner of DiBuono Electric. Anthony was a member of the Knights of Columbus 9136, Sons of Italy 1614, Holy Name Society, VFW Post 155, and a lifetime member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, formerly St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Woodvale.

He was the one to make you laugh. He loved food, cooking and eating with friends and family. A father figure to many, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be sadly missed.

Friends and family will be received from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Clare of Assisi Parish. Rev. George Gulash. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum where a Military Ritual will be conducted by Conemaugh Valley Marine Corp League, Detachment 287.
