Barbara C. (Tezak) Pastovic

Barbara C. (Tezak) Pastovic, 102, of Upper Yoder, died on August 14, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Butte, MT on February 5, 1918, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Barish) Tezak, family of ten raised in Enhaut, PA.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, John J., who died in 2005, ending 58 years of marriage, step-grandson Damian Papinchak. She was the last surviving member of 10 of her immediate family.

Survived by daughter, Barbara M., wife of Richard Gray, Ogletown; sons, Joseph L., married to Cora (Prosser), Geistown; Thomas J., married to Ann M. (Koontz), Richland; Michael J., Fairfield; and John S., Johnstown; grandchildren, Constance M. Pastovic, Lauren A. Palmisano, Susan F. Pace (Richard), and Stephanie M. Pastovic, Annamaria Replogle (Daniel), Emily A. Croyle (Scott); 7 great-grandchildren.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Barbara graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School and worked at Kate Greenaway Fabrics Company, Sears Credit Department, Merchants Business Men's Insurance Company, The D. Pepper Office, and retired as a Librarian from the Federal Service.

Barbara donated much of her time to the church and volunteered at Order of Alhambra, Knights of Columbus and PARC.

She was a lifelong member of St. Clement Catholic Church where Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Rev. William Rosenbaum. Facial masks must be worn if attending funeral mass.

Visitation is private and at discretion of family. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Harrisburg, PA.
