Barbara Simanski

Barbara Simanski (Partsch) 84, of Upper Yoder Twp., died peacefully at UPMC Altoona, April 6, 2024. She was born October 21, 1941 in Johnstown, PA.

Preceded in death by husband Albert A. Simanski , parents Harvey and Helen (Heinrich) Partsch , brothers Butch Partsch and Richard Partsch, sister Helen Leap and husband Ken, father and mother In law Emil Simanski Sr. and Avanell 
(Penrod), brother in law Ralph Simanski , brother In law Emil Simanski Jr and sister in law Jean,  sister In law Esther Simanski ( Karashin ),  brother In law Raymond  Simanski and sister In law Marlene Simanski .

Survived by son Robert Simanski of Mt.Pleasant, sister Agnes and  husband William, sister In Law Carol Partsch, brother In Law Raymond Simanski and sister In law Evelyn Simanski, numerous nieces and nephews and friends. She was living at Somerset Healthcare & Rehabilitation In Somerset, Pa, where she was a  PA Dept Of Aging Peer as she loved  helping people and making friends. She enjoyed camping with  Albert for many years at Friendship Village Campground  in Bedford, PA , She was a member Of Upper Yoder Vol Fire Company Ladies Aux. and St. Clement Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Fr. William Rosenbaum.
Private Interment Richland Cemetery.

If attending the Funeral Mass, please wear something Purple her favorite color.
 
The family would like to thank Somerset Healthcare & Rehabilitation For Mom's Care, UPMC Altoona ICU Doctors, Nurses , and Staff for the wonderful care given To my mother.
