Barbara A. Virostek

Barbara A. Virostek, 72, of Upper Yoder, died on November 17, 2023. Born on July 9, 1951 in Johnstown, daughter of Charles and Florence (Radasky) Hlivko.

Preceded in death by her father, and her loving dog Cosmo.

Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 51 years, Ron, sons, Eric and his wife Megan (Eckis); Chad and his wife Kara (Britcher); Mother Florence Hlivko; grandchildren Colin, Emma, Leah, and Abby; Godmother Lorene Teplica.

Barbara attended Presbyterian University School of Nursing. She was formerly employed as an RN at Lee Hospital and Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center and retired from Ophthalmic Eye Care Center.  She was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan and loved spending time with her family and friends but especially her grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received from 3-7 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Family and friends will meet for a Funeral Service at 9:30 AM on Wednesday at Christ the Saviour Orthodox Cathedral, 300 Garfield Street. Very Rev. Protopresbyter Robert Buczak. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum.
