Bernadette M. Ungar

Bernadette M. Ungar, 86, of Westmont, died on December 26, 2020.

Born on November 15, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late George and Bernadette (Jozsa) Mamrush.

Beloved wife of 64 years to the late John Ungar. She was the loving mother of daughters Janet Ungar and her fiancé Dr. Thomas Kovalcik, Mary wife of Robert Swaney, and Ellen wife of Dr. Del Kovacevic; devoted grandmother of Matthew, Shawn, and Grant (fiancé Cassandra) Swaney, Dr. Nicholas (Dr. Melissa) Kovacevic and Gina Kovacevic.

Bernadette was one of the first two women to serve on the Johnstown YMCA Board of Directors.

She was a longtime member of Our Mother of Sorrows Parish where Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Bernadette at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 2, 2021.Very Rev. Mark Begly. Interment will be held in Cleveland Ohio.
