Betty Dukery

Elizabeth A. "Betty" Dukery, 91, of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly January 23rd, 2025 in Johnstown. She was the daughter of Charles and Anna (Surganik) Pavlosky.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis " Duke" Dukery; her brothers: Carl, Joseph, Robert, Edward and Stephen Pavlosky; and her sister, Marie Shander.

Survived by these daughters: Marcia married to William Slisz of South Carolina, JoAnn Mock, Mary Ann Vermessen of West Virginia, and Francine married to Gary Lechak; her grandchildren: Melissa (Slisz) married to Brian Spisak, Melanie (Slisz) married to Robert Kelly, Billy Slisz (Laurel Helms), Brenna (Mock) married to Scott Durst, Samantha Mock, Brian Vermessen married to Amy (McWilliams), Taryn Lechak married to Dallen Spaugy, Jason Lechak married to Gabrielle (Hertzog), and Adam Lechak married to Stefanie (Zizzo); her 15 great grandchildren; her sister, Anna Mae Metrick; and her sisters in law, Marion Flood (Dukery), Patty Pavlosky, and Shirley Pavlosky.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of St. Theresa Church, where she volunteered for the bake sales, a member of Christian Mothers, and known for her famous banana cakes.

Friends will be received from 4 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday January 28, 2025 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown 15905.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday at St. Therese Church, 536 Decker Avenue, Johnstown, 15906, Fr. Bernard Karmanoky.

Interment Grandview Cemetery.
