Brenda Lee Edwards

Brenda Lee Edwards, 59, peacefully took the hand of Jesus on January 17, 2020 while surrounded by her family.  Born September 19, 1960 in Johnstown.

She is survived by her parents Donald "Pinky"  and Vi Edwards, her sister Sam (Gary) Freet, daughter Amanda (Nathan) Shellenberger, grandchildren Allenna & Abigail, and her beloved cats Siri and Sage 

Brenda graduated from Johnstown Vo-Tech in 1978.

In 2009, she received an Associates of Science Degree in Human Services from Penn Highlands and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society.

Her employment throughout the years included Eat N Park, Lowe's, Rolling Rock Country Club, ACRP, and the Children’s Aid Home in Somerset. Brenda loved karaoke, traveling, the beach, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

She attended West Hills Community Church where friends will be received on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 2-4 PM and 5-7 PM.

A Funeral Service will be held at West Hills Community Church on Friday January 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Hills Community Church Building Fund for the children’s wing, 2301 Sunshine Avenue, Johnstown PA 15905 in Brenda's Memory.
