Carol A. Trio

Carol A. Trio, 80, of Southmont, died on February 18, 2021 at Maple Winds Healthcare, Portage, PA.  Born March 24, 1940 in Johnstown, daughter of Carl and Evelyn (Heidorn) Becker.

Preceded in death by her parents, stepfather William R. Young, brothers George and John Becker, sisters Barbara Dolinsky and Susan Osborne, sister-in-law, Margaret, wife of John Becker.

Survived by loving husband of 60 years Eugene Trio, children Dr. Regina Kupchella, wife of Dr. Eugene Kupchella, Anna Trio, and Eugene married to Heidi; grandchildren Julie, Natalie, Stephen, Sara, and Meredith; great grandchildren Elliott and Ada; siblings Laura Young and William Young (Kathy); brother-in-law Alfred Osborne. 

Carol was a 1958 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School. She worked at Sears, Glosser Brothers, and T.T. Metzgar. She enjoyed playing cards and Mah-Jong.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be sadly missed.

Carol was a long-time member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral.

A private family viewing and funeral service with Fr. Crookston, will be held for the family.

Interment, St. Joseph Cemetery, Geistown.
