Charles J. Kist

Charles J. Kist, 76, formerly of Johnstown PA, died on February 7, 2020 at home with his family in North Carolina.

Born December 30, 1943 in Johnstown, son of Carl and Mary (Higgins) Kist.

Preceded in death by his parents and grandson Brayce Williams.

Survived by his wife Virginia C. (Washabaugh) Kist, children Tammy (Kist), wife of William Rumsey, Anthony Kist, Karl Kist, Melissa (Kist), wife of Tyrone Correa, Mary (Kist), wife of Jason Oyler; grandchildren Derrick Rumsey married to Josie (Morris); Ryan Kist; Maya Correa; Shelby Oyler; Jonah Oyler; and Mayson Oyler.

Charles retired from Johnstown America Corp, formerly employed at  Bethlehem Steel and worked in the coal mines. He was well known and will be loved and missed by many.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate the lives of Charles and his beloved grandson Brayce Williams from 4-7 PM on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
