Charles Rivetti Obituary

Charles Joseph "Chuck" Rivetti, aged 71, passed away on January 8, 2026, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Born on February 3, 1954, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was beloved by many and known for his loving, caring, and selfless nature.

Chuck proudly served in the United States Navy for five years, dedicating himself to a life of service that continued into his civilian career with the United States Government. His commitment to his country was profound and reflected his strong sense of duty.

Beyond his service, Chuck was deeply passionate about his family and loved ones. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren, wife, and children. Chuck was known for putting everyone else's needs above his own. He was an avid music lover and enthusiastic supporter of all things Pittsburgh sports. Chuck's spirited presence and loving nature will be missed by all. Everyone that knows Chuck has a story to tell and those stories will continue to live on. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, friend, and above all else, Pap-pap.

He is survived by his spouse, Michelle (Kettering) Rivetti; sister, Andrea Dotson; children, Katie Secrist (Ben) and Andrew Rivetti (Shanice); and grandchildren, Paige, Ivy, Julian, and Jayde. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Theresa (Stelluto) Rivetti, and stepmother, Theresa Aversa (Rivetti).

Friends will be received from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 14, at the Frank Duca Funeral Home (Westmont Chapel), 1622 Menoher Blvd.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 15, at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Very Rev. Mark S. Begly.

Chuck's life and service will be honored in a manner befitting his significant contributions to his family and country. His legacy of love, dedication, and generosity will endure through the lives of those he touched.

Interment will be held privately at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. A full military honoros will be provided by the United States Naval Honor Guard with the Brentwood VFW Post 1810.
