Daniel J. Humphrey

Daniel J. Humphrey, 79, of Nitro, WV entered Eternal Life on November 10, 2023. Daniel was born in Mullens, WV on July 13, 1944.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert David and Wanda Lee (Kerlin) Humphrey.  
 
He is survived by his children: Jay Humphrey (Sherry); Jennifer Nilson (Kurt); Tim Humphrey (Molly); grandchildren: Sarah, Alex, Camille, Wesston, Jordan, Raven; siblings: Annabelle Arnold (Jack), Elbert David Humphrey (Maria), Debbie Wood (Jim); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
 
Daniel was a graduate of Mullens High School and WVU. He was a proud Army Veteran, WVU football fan, member of the Moose, enjoyed golfing and playing pool, and loved to make people laugh. 
 
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, November 18th from 12 to 1 pm and a memorial service immediately following at 1 pm at Cooke Funeral Home, 2002 20th St, Nitro, WV.
