Diana Weigel

Diana Weigel, 84, of Jackson Twp., passed away on October 3, 2023 at home. Born on May 6, 1939 in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Anna (DeRosa) Arena.

Preceded in death by her parents, infant siblings Donald and Frances, brothers Tony, Rudy, and Leonard Arena, and sisters Mary Locher, Delores Erdley, and Eleanor Gehret.

Survived by loving, devoted husband of 57 years Adam J. Weigel, children Michael Weigel, Douglas Weigel married to Stacy (Brown), and Richard Weigel married to Lisa (Wilson), grandson Dr. Tyler Weigel and fiancée Kelly Leamer, step-grandchildren Alex, Alyssa, and Megghan, sisters Rita Locher and Joanna Watkins (Bob), sisters-in-law June Arena, Carol Altimore (Bob), and Gail Seifert (Jim).

Diana was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School. Her family was her life and nothing made her happier than to spend time with them. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, Nanny, and sister.  She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have her grace in their lives.

Friends received from 11 AM until 12 Noon on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd.

Funeral Mass will begin at 1 PM at St. John Vianney Church, 3513 William Penn Avenue, Johnstown PA 15909. Fr. Timothy Harris TOR. Entombment to follow at Richland Mausoleum.
