Dick E. Shaffer

Dick E. Shaffer, 80, of Conemaugh, Pennsylvania, died May 9, 2024 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, born September 11, 1943.

Preceded in death by parents Hugh and Freda (Wolford) Shaffer, brothers Jack and Bill Yoder, grandson Nathan Kiss, and loving wife Joan "Sis" Shaffer.

Survived by children William Kiss (Alita), of Huntington, Christine Kiss (Herbert Britton III), Patricia Kiss of Latrobe, Also survived by grandchildren Aaron Knupp, Nicole Kiss, Jimmy Britton (Brittany), Samantha Britton (Dale Gray), great grandchildren Connor Knupp and Dale Gray, Many friends especially John, Roberta, Don and Diane , beloved dog Nugget.

Retired from Bestform Company, he was a United States Army Veteran, and a Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Dick was a great man who cared deeply for his family and friends.

He spent 5 years taking care of his wife "Sis" with Alzheimers.

Dick will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
