Donald A. Taresco

Donald A. Taresco, 79, went to be with the Lord August 2, 2019. Born October 26, 1939, in Johnstown, PA, son of the late Gabriel and Mary (Febbe) Taresco.

Preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Shirley, his son, Donald Ray Taresco, and his sister Rita Ann. Donald is survived by 5 children: Joseph (Nancy Teeter), Michelle (Stan Shostek), Rhonda (Shelia Fultz), Tina (Jeff Fisher), and Shawn (Mary Koestler), 5 grandchildren: Jennifer (Ricky Marshall), Travis Taresco (Mia Leasock), Kevan Strick, Dominic Taresco, and Jackson Fisher, and 3 great grandchildren: Raelynn Marshall, Donald Marshall, and Preston Taresco. Donald is also survived by a brother, Joseph Taresco (N.C.).

Donald was a steward at The Sons of Italy Lodge #1614 for over 30 years. He always had a smile on his face and good for a prank. He was a loving father and devoted to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Conemaugh Hospital Hospice, Westmont Woods, and Three Rivers Hospice for their unwavering compassion and support. 

Friends received 1-4 PM Monday, August 5, 2019 at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. where Funeral Service will be held at 4 PM. Fr. Clarence Bridges.

Interment St. Anthony Cemetery, Geistown.
