Donald "Don" A. Mintmier, 84 of Johnstown went to be with his Lord on Friday, November 25, 2022 at his home. Born December 15, 1937 in Somerset County, son of Charles and Mary Mintmier.
Preceded in death by parents, wife Sharon, whom he married on May 15, 1986, and his brother, Charles E. Mintmier. Survived by Children: Brian, Beth Ann, James, Sheri, and step-daughter, Shari; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. He was a special friend of the Conant Family. Don was a mechanic who could fix almost anything and was also a very skilled woodworker. Don volunteered with the Mennonite Disaster since 2009, most of that time as a Leadership Volunteer. He helped and touched many lives for the good. Don was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
At the request of Don, no viewing will be held. Services are private.
