Doreen A. Chiodo

Doreen A. Chiodo, 89, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2021. Born on April 27, 1932 in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph F. and Ann (Hanchak) Chuba.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph E. Chiodo, brothers Joseph Jr., William, and Richard Chuba, and brother-in-law Arthur Gatty.

Survived by her loving children, Ralph “Danny” married to Shirlene (Kosanovich), Patricia Lynn wife of Anthony Campagna, and Lisa Marie wife of George Malec, all of Johnstown; Grandchildren, Damian, Ryan, Adrienne, Kristy, Ashley, Nicole, Anthony “TJ”, and Christopher; Great-grandchildren, Damian, Dominic, Mia, Joshua, Jace, Leonardo “Leo”, and Gianna; Sisters, Janet Gatty and Christine wife of Chuck Schmidt.

Doreen was a 1950 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly and they were her life. 

She was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Church where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Fr. Anthony Francis Spilka OFMConv.

Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905.  Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
