Dorothy (Grech) McCleary, 99 years 8 months, of Brookhaven PA, passed away on February 8, 2024 at Truewood Assisted Living, Media, PA.

Born on June 21, 1924 in Johnstown, first child of Andrew and Veronica "Minnie" (Carroll) Grech.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry McCleary (2008), brothers Francis Grech (wife Saundra), Andrew Grech (wife Sandra), James Grech (wife Doris), sisters Mary Lou Blythe, (husband Ben), Betty Campbell (husband Paul), Delores Grech, sister-in-law Nellie Grech, brother-in-law George Pekich.

Survived by son F. Donald McCleary and daughter Carol McCleary Grabe, wife of Chuck, granddaughter Jenna (Seery) Roberts, wife of Kevin, great-granddaughter Charlotte "Charlie" Roberts, great grandson Harry Roberts, brothers William Grech, and Robert Grech (Judy), twin sisters Eleanor Pekich and Evelyn Orlosky, sister Ruth Forish (Joseph). Also survived by many nieces and nephews from near and afar.

Her children, granddaughter, and great grandchildren were the love of her life. Her pride and joy for each of them was a constant reminder of the strong, supportive, loving woman she was.

Dorothy loved shopping, visiting her family in Johnstown, visiting her daughter, Carol, at the beach, especially when her "Little Grands" would come with her granddaughter Jenna and her husband Kevin. Dorothy adored the feline affection from her cat and several grandcats and loved fussing over them. She is finally at peace and reconnecting with all who adored her.

Friends and family received on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 10-11 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Fr. James Crookston. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum.
