Dr. Joan F. Albright

Dr. Joan F. Albright, 70, of Alum Bank, passed away on July 22, 2026 at home.  She was born on July 28, 1955 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John Foy and Tresa May (Gorgan).   

She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 28 years, Howard Ralph, who passed in 2006 and infant daughter, Emily, in 2000. 

Survived by her children, John Howard Albright married to Angela, Tresa Laura McVicker married to Michael, Cary Joseph Albright, Katherine Anne Brambly married to Dan, Christopher James Albright married to  Ashley, Samuel Alexander Albright, Ralph P. Albright married to Tessa, Daniel Timothy Albright married to Josie and Theodore William Albright married to Amanda and 21 grandchildren:   Thomas, Laura, Samuel, Bodie, Skylar, Jamie John, Quienten, Howard, Vivian, Aiden, Talia, Theolyn, Kaiden, Katie, Emily, Elyssa, Gabriel, Griffin, Grover, Lilian and Lilah. 

Dr. Albright was a proud graduate of Edgewood High School and after graduation she went on to earn a doctorate degree.  She practiced holistic medicine, was passionate about her work and was known for her big heart and always wanting to help others.  Her favorite past times were  gardening, flowers, jewelry and antiques and volunteered for the Backpack Project and the Windber Area Community Kitchen. 

Friends received from 1-3 pm on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd.
