Edward J. Deitle

Edward J. Deitle, 63, of Johnstown, died on April 14, 2022, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born on October 22, 1958, in Johnstown, son of James E. Deitle and Carolyn Crouse.

Preceded in death by his father, and in-laws Charles and Elsie Arendas.

Survived by his loving wife Susan (Arendas) Deitle; daughter Stacey wife of Robbie Britt, of Jefferson City, TN and son Jason Deitle and his wife Kristin, of Murrells Inlet, SC; Mother Carolyn; loving granddaughter Hartlynn; brother Rick Deitle; stepsisters Adriane Revak and Heather Brougher; niece Kristy Whitman; and his faithful companions Molly and Sadie.

Ed graduated from Vo-Tech in 1977. He was formerly employed at Lee Hospital, CamTran, Lodestar Bus Lines as a charter bus driver, and was currently employed at McIlwain as a bus driver.

He loved to hunt, fish, ride his motorcycle, and spend time with his family.

Ed was a member of the Oakland Fire Department, a former assistant Chief at Geistown Fire Department, and a lifetime member of the Richland Fire Department.

Friends and family will be received from 3-8 PM on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at Noon at the Funeral Home. Private interment.
