Edward James Rozich

Edward James Rozich, 85, of Johnstown, died on November 22, 2022 at home. Born on July 9, 1937 in Johnstown, son of Ivan and Mildred (Mateljan) Rozich. 

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters. 

Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Eileen (Scarletta) Rozich, daughters Kelley Rozich and Jamie Duplin, sons Anthony Rozich married to Amy (Plaza) and Christopher Rozich married to Dianne Carr, grandchildren Tyler (Catherine), Josh (Kara), and Christina Duplin, Paige, Taylor, Maddison, and Cassidy Rozich, Alicia Iwanyszyn, great-grandchildren, Rosa Aruauz, Blaise Bruce, Alexander Duplin, Owen Duplin, Mason Duplin, and Emberlee Hovanec. Also survived by brothers Joseph (Judy) and Robert (Linda). 

Jim was a 1957 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School. He enlisted in the US Army in 1960 and retired from Bethlehem Steel. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. 

Jim was a longtime member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 28, 2022. Fr. Peter Crowe. 

Friends received Sunday from 2-6 PM at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum, where a Military Ritual will be conducted by Conemaugh Valley Marine Corp League, Detachment 287.
