It is with deep love and gratitude that we celebrate the life of Eleanor Tutokey. She was a devoted wife, cherished mother, loving grandmother, loving great-grandmother, and beloved friend.
She passed away on September 14th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on October 22, 1930, in Johnstown, PA, Eleanor lived a life of kindness, adventure, and dedication to those she loved most. She was the proud mother of five wonderful children, each of whom carries forward her strength, wisdom, and unwavering love. A true partner in life, Eleanor shared countless beautiful years with her late husband George, building a home filled with warmth, laughter, hard work, and the aroma of her incredible cooking, which brought people together, creating lasting memories around the table. Her adventurous spirit took her across the world, as she found joy in traveling and exploring new places with family. No matter where she went, she carried compassion and joy with her, leaving a mark on everyone she met. Above all, Eleanor will be remembered for her boundless love of family and friends, with a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that lives in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by children: Steven (Valerie), Georgette (Jeff), Jeanette (Calvin), and Barry; grandchildren, Ben (Kailyn), Ryan, Sarah (Michael), Kristina (Cody), Eric (Adrianne), Michael, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, George, Emma, Phillip, Walker, Kade, and Lucy. Preceded in death by daughter Maureen.
A celebration of her life will be held on September 18th, 2025, at West Hills Community Church. Friends will be received from 11 to 12. The service will begin at 12:00pm.
Christian burial will follow at the mausoleum in Grandview Cemetery.
