Elwood Wayne Harbaugh, 86, of Monroe Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025. Born on May 13, 1938, in Johnstown, PA.
Wayne was known as a consummate car guy who worked 42 years for the Ford Motor Company at the plant in Edison, NJ. Wayne loved to bowl in the UAW league on Friday nights. He was always working on a new project and helping others. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
Elwood Wayne Harbaugh is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty; sons, David, Daniel, Doug (Louann), and Duane (Melissa); 6 grandchildren, Julianne, Kacey, Dylan, Elizabeth, Jessica, and Alexa; and one great-grandchild, Lennon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Liddy Fertick and Peck Harbaugh.
Friends and family received 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Sunday, April 13th, at Frank Duca Funeral Home-East Hills Chapel, 404 Walters Ave., Johnstown, PA.
Friends and family will meet on Monday 10:00am at the funeral home, followed by an 11:00 am graveside Funeral Service at Richland Cemetery, 1257 Scalp Ave, Johnstown, PA 15904.
Friends and family are welcome to join a Luncheon at 12 pm at Salix Bethel Church, 1021 Forrest Hills Drive, Salix, PA 15952.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charitable organizations that support research in Parkinson’s Disease or Dementia.
