Garth C. Wesner

Garth C. Wesner, 74, of Westmont, passed peacefully on April 9, 2024 at home. Born on June 21, 1949 in Johnstown, son of Dr. William N. Wesner Sr. and Catherine (Dunsmore).

Preceded in death by his parents, and infant brother Peter, and brother Nicholas.

Survived by loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Barbara (Clark), loving children Michael Wesner married to Jolene (Gardill), Robert Wesner, Sean Wesner, and Maureen wife of Chris Kalfas; He adored his 5 grandchildren Jack, Luke, Camille, Maeve, and Connor.

He is also survived by loving brothers and sisters, Kathryn Jones (Allyn), Anne Wesner Moon, William N. Wesner Jr., Maria Gordon, Ben Wesner (Vicki), Melanie Carlson (Jim), John Wesner, and Laura Wesner.

Garth was a graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School, and the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. He retired from the Cambria County Assistance Office after 30 years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be sadly missed.

He was a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Church where a Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Very Rev. Mark Begly.

Friends received from 4-7 PM on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
