Gary T. Beuke

Gary T. Beuke, 74, of Laurelview Village, died on October 21, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born on May 23, 1946 in Johnstown, son of William H. and Jean L. (Leahey) Beuke.Preceded in death by his parents, and half-brother Richard G. Schnurr. Survived by cousins Bonnie wife of Ed Doyle and Bob Just married to Elaine, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. 

Gary was a 1965 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School, and a 1969 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He taught English, drama, and journalism at the former Cochran Junior High School. He was able to be an Information and Educational Specialist for the Cambria/Somerset Emergency Medical Services. He volunteered at Memorial Medical Center and at Cambria/Somerset Convention and Visitors Bureau. He was a member and officer of many arts, historical, religious, and fraternal associations. He was a former Grand Knight of Johnstown Council 467, St. Clement Council. 

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. John Gualbert Cathedral. Very Rev. James F. Crookston, concelebrant Father Larry Lacovic. Private Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum. Facial Masks and social distancing required.
