Georgia M. Kot

Georgia M. Kot, 76, of Upper Yoder, died on March 7, 2022 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born on July 23, 1945 in New York, daughter of George and Marie (Challenger) Bihen.

Preceded in death by parents, two brothers, and uncle Gene Challenger.

Survived by sons Anthony "Tony" Kot, and Douglas Kot and his wife Allison Ohle, beloved grandchildren Jackson and Atlas.

Georgia was a 1963 graduate of Johnstown High School and graduated from Mt. Aloysius with her Associate's Degree in Nursing. She began her career as an LPN at Lee Hospital and retired as a RN after a four decade career. She was an active volunteer with the Republican Party of Cambria County.

Georgia was known as a gracious host, having delicious and abundant food available for anyone who showed. She was a loving and devoted grandmother who will be sadly missed.

Friends will  be received from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday at Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship, Pastor Jim Gay. Private Interment.
