Helen T. Ricci, 91, of Richland, died peacefully on March 18, 2023. Born August 27, 1931 in Altoona, PA, daughter of the late Salvatore and Angela Natale Tamburrine. Preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Joseph A. Ricci, Johnstown.
Survived by her daughter Claudia and husband Roger Clow of Solon, Ohio, and son Martin and wife Deborah Ricci of Johnstown. Also survived by granddaughters Sheena (James) Selapack of Johnstown, Jenna Ricci (Jordan Weeks) of Johnstown, and Natalie Epifanio of Stow, Ohio, and by the loves of her life, her great-grandchildren, Atlas, India, and Ezra Selapack.
Helen was the owner of Viale Degli Amici “Avenue of Friends Fine Jewelry” in Westmont for many years. She and her husband resided in Naples Florida for 22 years. Helen was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards, needlework, entertaining friends, cooking, baking, and golfing. She also was the “Queen Mother” of the Red Hat Group. Helen and Joe fulfilled their dreams in their retirement years.
Helen leaves behind a legacy of love and happy memories for a family that she was devoted to. She would say that her family provided all the energy that inspired her daily.
At the request of Helen, there will be a private viewing and service held on Thursday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Inc. East Hills Chapel and Crematory, 404 Walters Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15904. A private entombment to follow at Richland Mausoleum.
