Henry C. Von Blohn, 96, of Southmont, died November 18, 2020 at home. Born October 21, 1924 in Danville, PA. He was the son of Carl and Clara (Jones) Von Blohn.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife Jean, daughter Carole Morrison, grandson Jesse, sister Ada Clark, and brother in law Robert Levan.
Survived by son Kimber, married to Elaine (Boyd), of Hawaii; son-in-law Ken Morrison, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He began his management career in Bethlehem Steel in 1949 and retired in 1983 as Superintendent of the Railroad Axe Division. Henry was a life member of Masonic Lodge, 50 year member of Old Colony Lodge, Bingham MA, past chairman of American Welding Society, Judge of Elections, Southmont Precinct #3, and former member of Sunnehanna Country Club. He was in the Army Air Corps, WWII Veteran, as a pilot flying military supplies over the Hump in the Burma Theater.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife in their Airstream and traveled through Mexico, Alaska, and Canada.
All services will be private. Private interment at Old Fellow Cemetery, Danville PA.
