Irene Patricia Gaudlip

Irene Patricia Gaudlip, 88, of Geistown, died on February 14, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Born on October 8, 1933 in Jerome, daughter of Andrew and Susan (Harman) Toath. 

Preceded in death by her parents, two infant sons, sisters Mary Wanko, and Anna Pluta, brothers Andrew Jr. and John Toath. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. 

Survived by her loving son Kevin Gaudlip married to Brenda (Mishler), grandchildren Jessica (Fred Adamson), Bradley Gaudlip, Allissa (Drew Smith), Jeremy Mishler, Brooke Gaudlip, great-grandchildren Cadence, Rylen, Raegan, Brynlee, Caleb, and Tate. 

Irene was a graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. She worked at Kay Artley Sewing Factory and retired from LaurelCrest Manor as a Nurse's Aide. She enjoyed spending time with her family during the holidays and cooking for them. Irene loved flowers and sitting on her porch. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family. 

Irene was a faithful member of St. Benedict Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 19, 2022. Fr. David Peles. Interment, St. Peter and Paul Byzantine Cemetery, Jerome PA.
