J. Patrick McGough

J. Patrick. McGough, 71, of Friedens, went to be with the Lord on August 06, 2019. Born June 04, 1948 in Somerset.

Son of the late John R. and Gene E. (Shaulis) McGough. Survived by his sister, Michele married to John Sube; niece, Kerri Mueller (Frank) and her daughter Alexis (Jared Peifer); nephew, Scott Sube (Eileen), and their children Brittany and Adam Sube; special friends, Cris and Craig Sprock; goddaughters, Leah and Lauren Sprock; also Dona McGough Styx; and "faithful companions" Mason and Magnum.

Patrick was a 1966 graduate of Somerset High School, and a 1970 graduate of University of Pittsburgh, earning a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He was the Director of Rehab Services at Somerset Hospital from 1973-1983. He also was the Executive Administrator and a Partner of Martin, McGough, & Eddy from 1973-1998.

He loved nature and was an avid Steelers fan. Patrick was passionate about golf, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday at United Church of Christ in Stoystown, Pastor Sharon Fox. Interment will follow at Lambertsville Cemetery.
