Jacqueline (D'Ettorre) Camut

Jacqueline (D'Ettorre) Camut, 82, of Johnstown, crossed over into the light on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Born on November 6, 1939 in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Pauline (Gavazzoni) D'Ettorre.

Preceded in death by her parents, who were taken from this world too soon.

Left with loving memories are her husband Don Camut, daughter Gina Morgenweck, son Vince Camut (Marnie), the joys of her life, grandsons Nick Morgenweck and Charlie Camut, brother Francis D'Ettorre (Renee), nephew and niece, Joey D'Ettorre and Nicole Scuderi.

Jackie worked as an OR Technician at Mercy Hospital, as a private-duty nurse, and as an LPN at Lee Hospital and the Presbyterian Home for 25 years. Her door was always open to friends and family who stopped by regularly, where they enjoyed her cooking and hospitality. Jackie was a voracious reader, a quilter, and she loved to paint with oils and draw, especially her own Christmas cards.

After struggling with chronic pain and aging, she has now joined her departed loved ones. Joyfully remember and celebrate her life!

Per request of the deceased, there will not be a public viewing. A private service and entombment at Richland Mausoleum will take place for the family.
