James "Jim" R. Richter, 78, of Upper Yoder, died on May 1, 2024. Born on April 10, 1946, in Johnstown, PA, son of Rick and Helen (Stormer) Richter. 

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters. 

Survived by his loving and devoted wife Rosemary (Piscatello), and loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Also brothers and sisters. 

Jim was a 1964 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. He was previously employed at Fritz's Market and founded his own construction Company, "JR Richter Contracting". He was a very talented builder.
