We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Westmont Chapel
James Urban, 75, of Westmont, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center.
Born August 19, 1946 in Johnstown, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Molchany) Urban.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Robert Urban and mother-in-law, Bernice Mindala.
Survived by his loving wife, Denise (Mindala) Urban; son, James Urban married to Sharon (Lucas) Urban, of Pittsburgh, PA; daughter, Melissa Johns married to Eric Johns of Gambrills, MD; granddaughters Hannah and Jilian; brother, Francis Urban; nieces and nephews.
Jim was kind and patient and took everything in stride. His family and granddaughters, meant everything to him. He also loved his fur babies Patrick and PePe. As Jim's health worsened, he would sit looking out the window at the birds and wildlife along with his buddies Patrick and PePe. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers (especially when they were winning.) He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Jim is now at peace with the Lord and free of pain.
